There will be a temporary change in our dining operations, both cafe and catering, at Harvard Law School. Please read through the notice from Dean for Administration, Francis X. McCrossan:
Dear members of the HLS community:
The dining services workers who provide food service for much of Harvard University -- including HLS -- have decided to stage a strike beginning Wednesday, October 5th.
For the duration of the strike, the Hark cafeterias (both upstairs and downstairs) will be closed, as will the Pub, and our catering contractor (Restaurant Associates) will not provide food or beverage service of any kind, including for events. Except for this interruption of food/beverage service and catering, all other regularly scheduled business and activities of the school will be conducted as usual, including classes.
Restaurant Associates managers will be in touch with event organizers who requested catering for their events, to answer questions. Inquiries about catering for future events should be sent to email@example.com.
I will update you daily for as long as the strike continues.
Our catering team works hard to make your meeting or event a success!
